Prom Make-Up 2016
Prom Make- Up
A stressful time of year for students completing exams. At the end the Proms are a fantastic way to celebrate finishing school and look forward to the next venture.
For many of the girls looking there absolute best for Prom was perhaps more stressful than the exam its self.
Firstly finding the dress, then shoes and bag to match, maybe a few alterations. Deciding to have a tan? Nails to book and of course Hair and make-up booking.
Everyone wants a prime time, however with some schools having proms on the same day that was defiantly proven difficult.
I arranged back to back appointments in my make up room. Prom make up can be hetic but the girls know what they want more than us adults. Most girls showed me a picture and photo of the dress and away we went.
Beautiful lashes, shimmering and eye opening eye make up, sculptured yet fresh skin. In my eyes a perfect combination for girls of 16 to 18.
Most girls wanted to focus on eye make up, so I enhanced some of the eyes with my favorite Channel Illusion D’ Ombre 81 in Fantasme £25. Patting small amounts over the lid.
Eyes will only look strong if the skin looks immaculate. That goes for contouring, to natural skin with freckles. It needs to be on point. All the girls had the most smooth, fresh plump skin so that was so easy to achieve. I mainly used my Nars Foundations and Laura Mercier Minerals.
I hope the girls enjoyed there experience and picked up some make up tips over the short half hour with me.
